I've been using all of these products for quite a while now, and I can honestly say that I'm enjoying them all! Revlon has definitely impressed me the most this summer, especially with their lip products. I feel like I almost can't keep up with the amount of lipsticks and glosses they are making right now! Anyway, let's get on to the haul!
Here are the items from left to right: Superlustrous Lipgloss in Pink Pop, Fatal Apple, and Fuschia Finery. Colorburst Lipgloss in Atomic Pink and Killer Watt, Revlon Lash Potion Mascara, and Superlustrous Shine Finish Lipsticks in Fuchsia Shock, Berry Couture, and Rich Girl Red.
I'm sure you're all well aware that the Superlustrous lipgloss line got a makeover. Fortunately the formula is still the same, but some old shades have been discontinued which I'm not happy about, and we are also getting less product now (I will fully explain this in my upcoming review on these). The Colorburst glosses are sadly limited edition, but the colors are gorgeous! The new Lash Potion mascara is now my favorite Revlon mascara, and I've been wearing it almost everyday. These Superlustrous lipsticks are all 'Shine Finish' , Revlon's latest lipstick formula. It's shiny, but not glossy and it feels like silk on the lips. I really love this new finish!
Swatches from left to right: Superlustrous Lipsticks in Fuchsia Shock, Berry Couture, and Rich Girl Red, Colorburst Lipgloss in Atomic Pink and Killer Watt, and Superlustrous Lipgloss in Fatal Apple, Pink Pop, and Fuchsia Finery.
I filmed a video talking about this haul of new goodies as well, but I haven't had the time to edit it, so I will link to it here when it's finished. Or you can subscribe to my channel!
I will review all of these products individually as well!

Covergirl Flamed Out Mascara
Covergirl mascaras aren't my favorite, but that doesn't mean that I wasn't excited when I saw this at the drugstore! I always enjoy trying new mascaras, and new products in general. In my What's New at the Drusgtore for Covergirl post, many of you also said that you were excited about this mascara, and I can understand why. It's actually better than I expected, and so far it's the only Covergirl mascara that I enjoy using!
The packaging is a bit different from what Covergirl usually does, I'm liking the colors!
The wand is made entirely of traditional bristles that taper in the middle, creating an hourglass-like shape. The end is blunt, and has excess mascara, but I never had any problems with it. I found that this wand reached all of my lashes and didn't over coat them.
Here are the results! I love the way that this mascara gave amazing volume and curl to my lashes (even my straight ones). The overall look is natural, but still noticeable. My lashes didn't feel heavy or droop at all during the day. It also does a nice job on lower lashes!
Claims: "Ignite every lash. Make a bold statement with winged lashes that curve up and out. The unique wire brush coats your lashes for an instant volume boost."
Formula: The formula is volumizing, and it gives great definition and length. It feels like I'm not even wearing mascara, and it gives a very natural finish. It doesn't feel wet or dry, it's perfectly in the middle.
Wand Type: The wand is made of traditional bristles that are pinched in the middle, creating an hourglass-like shape. Since the wand is quite bulky, people with smaller lashes or eyes may find application difficult with this mascara.
Price/Availabilty: My mom bought this for me:) it was $6 at Walmart

This is the first Covergirl mascara that I actually like! I found that all of the claims that Flamed Out made to be true, which is rare with any mascara. It gave my lashes excellent curl and volume that lasted all day. It even made my straight lashes stay put! It also managed to feel weightless and make my lashes look perfectly defined and fluttery. The wand may be bulky for some people, but I had no problems with it. I enjoyed the traditional bristles and the unique shape of the wand, which I believe is what really fanned out the lashes.
I absolutely love this formula, and the wand does a great job. I will be getting lots of use out of this mascara!

L'Oreal Magic Nude Liquid Powder Foundation
I'm not familiar with liquid to powder products, I guess that's why I was so compelled to give this stuff a try! L'oreal Magic Nude Liquid Powder claims to give the skin a 'perfect bare skin finish'. Even though this is an interesting product for the drugstore, it left me unimpressed.
Have you tried this foundation yet?
The bottle reads: Magic Nude Liquid Powder. Bare Skin Perfecting Makeup, Octinoxate SPF 18, Broad Spectrum SPF 18.
Claims: "Perfect, flawless complexion- minimizes appearance of imperfections. SPF 18"
Formula: The formula isn't exactly liquid to powder. It's really a liquid that doesn't set at all. A powder is needed. The consistency is very runny.
Finish: The finish is dry, it made certain parts of my face look very dry (please refer to my video review).
Coverage: The coverage is very light, it can be built up to almost medium if you play around with it, which isn't exactly practical for me.
Lasting Power: This started to melt off right after I applied it, it wouldn't last a minute without being set with some kind of powder.
Scent: This has a strong alcohol/sunscreen/baby powder scent.
Packaging: This bottle is made of glass that is frosted at the top. There is a twist off cap, and tons of product can be wasted when pouring, so be careful!
Price/Availability: I paid $10+ at Harmon's in Bed Bath and Beyond.
Likes:
- Color matches decently
- Interesting idea for drugstore
Dislikes:
- Coverage is too light
- Scent is strong
- Packaging is wasteful
- Lasting power is horrible
- Finish makes my skin look unflattering
- Doesn't live up to claims
Overall:
I think that the idea L'Oreal had was nice, but the formula doesn't live up to it's claims at all and really needs improvement. This foundation never exactly set to a powder finish for me, even when I tried applying it with my fingers, which is the recommended way! I waited over 30 minutes for it to dry with each method that I used to apply it, and it accentuated my pores. The lasting power is a joke, the scent is too strong, the coverage isn't enough, and the price just isn't worth the quality. It made my skin look awful, and my current foundation works perfectly fine. It was nice to try something new, but all in all Magic Nude Liquid Powder is definitely not magical.
Please watch my video review to see how I applied it and what it looked like on my skin. I tried to use this foundation in multiple ways, fingers, sponges, and brushes, but none of them worked for me. I really didn't want to post a picture on here, because the results were just awful, haha!

Maybelline Baby Lips Electro Collection
I finally found the Maybelline Baby Lips Electro collection! Baby Lips are my favorite drugstore lip balms. I have been using all six colors non stop these past few days. I absolutely love everything about this collection-let's get right to the details!
There are six different shades to choose from in this collection. From left to right: Pink Shock, Fierce N Tangy, Berry Bomb, Oh Orange, Minty Sheer, and Strike a Rose.
Maybelline switched it up with this collection and made the tubes black with neon writing. I'm really loving this change, it's adorable!
The actual lip balms in the tubes are very bright looking. Only some colors appear to be that bright, I swatched every color on my lips in my video review.

Overall:
This is my favorite Baby Lips collection by far! I'm not too sure if these are limited edition or not, but either way they are going to sell out fast. Baby Lips are a great option for someone who wants a pop of color in lip balm form. The formula isn't the most moisturizing in the world, but I feel that it lives up to the claims and leaves my lips feeling soft and supple. They smell great, the packaging is adorable, and last a decent amount of time. Some of the brighter colors will stain your lips, but it stains evenly and looks nice.
If you don't have a Harmon's beauty department near you, or if you don't feel like hunting them down like I did, you will have to wait until July for this collection to be at other drugstores. I asked Maybelline directly via Twitter, and that's what they told me, but they might pop up in some places towards the end of June. I also asked them if these are limited edition or not, but they haven't responded yet. I'll just say that if you want these, get them, because it's better to be safe than sorry!
Each color is so pretty on the lips, but my favorite two are definitely Strike a Rose and Pink Shock. They are the most pigmented in the collection, and the two that I think will flatter everyone's skin tone.
Here's my video review, be sure to watch this if you want to see lip swatches and hear about the scents that each one has! I felt that describing these tings would be easier in a video.

From left to right: Berry Bomb, Minty Sheer, Strike a Rose, Fierce N Tangy, Pink Shock, and Oh Orange. Berry Bomb is a sheer medium purple. Minty Sheer has a slight green tint but is clear on the lips. Strike a Rose is a sheer coral-pink. Fierce N Tangy has a slight yellow tint but is also clear on the lips. Pink Shock is a sheer hot pink. Oh Orange is a sheer medium orange. All of these swatches are 2 swipes, except for Minty Sheer and Fierce N Tangy which are 3 swipes.
Claims: "Our exclusive formula moisturizes lips for a full 8 hours. Lips renewed in 1 week* (*Based on panelists’ self-evaluations)" I explain this more in detail in the video.
Finish/Texture: The finish of these is shiny and the texture is very smooth and silky.
Lasting Power: The tinted colors last about 3 hours, but they leave behind a pretty stain which can extend the wear time by two hours or more.
Scent: Each Baby Lips has it's own unique scent, I explain this more in my video review.
Packaging: I love the black tubes! Baby Lips have twist up applicators with long caps. I love the long caps because they help me prevent scraping the lip balm when I'm in a hurry.
Price/Availability: I paid $3 each for these at Harmon's in Bed Bath and Beyond.
Likes:
- Cute new packaging
- Fun colors to choose from
- Great scents, each has a different one
- The color payoff is long lasting for a lip balm
- Pigmented and clear options
- Leaves lips feeling soft and supple
- Lives up to claims
- Inexpensive
Dislikes:
- No sunscreen
- You will need to reapply throughout the day for moisture

Lime Crime Japan LA Event!
JapanLA, a cute little store on Melrose, had a birthday party for their seventh year in business. LimeCrime, one of my favorite makeup brands, had a 'pop up shop' which is basically a little display full of products! Of course I wanted to go because the founder of LimeCrime Doe Deere and her cute crew was there, and I loved meeting her at IMATS LA. Plus, I will always take advantage of being able to swatch all of their bright, playful lipsticks, glitters, and lipglosses... ok I just wanted to swatch everything!
This is me with Doe Deere and Katie! I love their dresses, I feel like I should have worn something with a bit more poof! Haha, but I still love this picture.
I was so happy that I had the chance to talk with Doe again! The first time we met I could only think of a few questions to ask, I was so overwhelmed at with the fast-paced environment at IMATS. I asked her about what Lime Crime has planned for the future, and it sounds like there are some exciting new products in store! As we talked, I found out that she is huge Dita von Teese fan like me! We also talked about music, hair color, and how we both think Airborne Unicorn lipstick is universally flattering. Basically, Doe couldn't be any more awesome in my eyes! She is such a fun, sweet person to be around. I can't wait to see her again!
I love how interactive that Lime Crime is with their fans. I have never had the chance to talk with someone so openly about their products before, and I honestly think that more companies should be as hands on. Doe was so kind to me! It really makes me feel valued as a customer, as a blogger, and as a long time fan. Doe even posted a picture of us on her Instagram, and if you follow me on there you know I was so flattered! Plus, I kind of freaked out that Lime Crime and Doe are now following me, AHHHH! :D ♥
I promise that I will review the two Lime Crime lipsticks that I have soon. I've been wearing them non-stop, so I will have a very detailed review for you! I also wanted to quickly mention that I found and bought the entire Maybeline Baby Lips Electro collection yesterday! I will have a review coming on those soon as well!
Hope you all have a great week! I have many exciting posts/videos coming up, be sure to stay in touch with me! ♥
Here's me standing in front of the Lime Crime 'pop up shop'!
Here are some of the Lime Crime Opaque Lipsticks! (There were tons of people at the event, also swatching things so that's why some items are missing from the picture). I currently own two shades, Airborne Unicorn and Retrofuturist. They are amazingly pigmented and super creamy. I can't wait to get more shades!
This is me with Doe Deere and Katie! I love their dresses, I feel like I should have worn something with a bit more poof! Haha, but I still love this picture.
The lovely Traci Hines was also at the event! I'm happy that I had the chance to see her again too! We talked all about Disney and her singing career. She is so nice, like I can't even begin to explain it. I really hope we get to talk again soon!
Here's a photo of Doe and I that I found on the Lime Crime blog, which you can check out here for more photos of the event!
