Caramel Apple and Butterscotch Avon Lip Balms

In my most recent Avon haul, I mentioned how I couldn't resist the cute packaging on these lip balms. Every season Avon comes out with enticing festively packaged lip balms that sound delicious. The flavors here are Caramel Apple and Butterscotch, but Avon really messed up  with these flavors- they smell and taste like plastic!

I was devastated! This is the first time I've ordered these myself, and will be the last. My mom had ordered some holiday lip balms in the past and said that hers tasted like plastic too! Another thing that really bothers me is that the cute labels don't even stay on! In order to open the lip balm you have to tear off the entire label. Also, they feel quite waxy on the lips, and don't leave you feeling moisturized at all.

I must say that I was very disappointed with these balms. At least they were inexpensive!

  1. That's a real shame! You'd expect them to at least smell good as advertised. I'd be annoyed about the label too. Thanks for letting us know!
